You can get alerted if your website gets too slow by enabling the "Speed alerting" feature. 

Check the "Alert when average speed drops" checkbox, specify how fast your website is expected to load and the amount of time it takes to trigger an alert.

Then check when do you want to be notified and how often should Uptimia check for your website speed. In the end, choose who will receive the alerts.
